Beginner and continuing students of all ages regardless of physical condition are welcome. Classes and workshops are offered online and in-person in the San Diego area.
Qigong (pronounced “chee gung”) is an ancient Chinese healing art and health care system that integrates physical postures, movement, breathing techniques and focused intention. Qigong improves physical, emotional and mental well being, prevents disease and increases vitality.
- Qi means subtle breath or vital-energy. Gong means skill cultivated through regular practice.
- Qigong combines movement, breath work and meditation.
- The slow gentle movements of most qigong forms can be easily adapted for anyone and can be practiced by all age groups.

Meet Qigong Teacher, Martha Blane
With over 20 years of experience teaching qigong, Martha has been dedicated to the internal arts since 1995 including two training periods in Sichuan Province, China, and ongoing studies with esteemed teachers in the U.S. and Canada. Her mission is to share the ancient wisdom of Qigong, helping individuals lead happier and healthier lives through enhanced physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Sharing methods for activating one’s own self-healing abilities is at the core of her teaching. As a lifelong learner, she actively continues her training across various lineages and is a long-time member of the National Qigong Association (NQA).
